Notice: This contract is subject to arbitration pursuant to the South Carolina Uniform Arbitration Act (S.C. Code Ann. § 15-48-10 et seq.) and the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq.).
By creating an account or using Kids Point Hub ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Adult registration requirement: Kids Point Hub is a household chore tracking and family motivation app. Accounts must be registered and maintained by an adult parent or legal guardian ("Parent User"). Children may only use the app under household profiles managed by a Parent User.
Kids Point Hub is licensed, not sold, to you for non-commercial household use.
Family chore records and point balances are stored in Google Firebase encrypted cloud databases. A local copy of your household data is cached on your family's devices so you can keep tracking offline; changes sync automatically when the device reconnects to the internet.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. STRASCORP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRASCORP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, INCURRED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL STRASCORP'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $50.00 USD.
Purchases on our website are sold by Stripe, our Merchant of Record, through Stripe Managed Payments; your receipt shows the purchase as made through Link, Stripe's checkout service. Stripe handles payment questions and refunds through Link support.
Purchases in our Android app are made through Google Play and billed by Google under the Google Play Terms of Service. Google Play shows the price in your local currency before you buy, and handles payment questions and refunds for those purchases.
Kids Point Hub Pro is offered as a monthly subscription ($2.99 per month) or an annual subscription ($19.99 per year), plus any applicable taxes shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until canceled.
The Free plan includes one child profile and works on one device at a time: signing in on another device signs out the device you used before. Kids Point Hub Pro adds unlimited child profiles, family sharing and use on all your family's devices.
You can cancel at any time: website purchases from the Manage tab in the app, Google Play purchases in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep Pro features until then and are not charged again. Refunds are available as described in our Refund Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we change the Last Updated date above and ask you to accept the new version in the app before you continue using it. If you don't accept, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina (South Carolina law), without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in South Carolina, under the Federal Arbitration Act and the South Carolina Uniform Arbitration Act.
