Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 31, 2026 | Operated by StrasCorp LLC

Kids Point Hub provides a secure environment for household chore tracking. We do not sell family data and we do not display third-party advertisements.

1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Information

Information is used strictly to provide, maintain, and sync chore-tracking functionality across family devices, to manage your subscription, and to answer support requests. We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and the app contains no third-party analytics or ad trackers.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase (Google LLC) for sign-in (including Sign in with Google), database storage, hosting, and password reset emails. We send the email confirming that an account was deleted through Google Workspace (Google LLC), with Resend as a backup. Stripe is our Merchant of Record for subscription billing (Stripe Managed Payments, through Link): when you subscribe, Stripe collects and processes your payment details (such as card information and billing address) on its own checkout page under its own privacy policy, and we receive only the information needed to manage your subscription, such as your email address, plan, and checkout and subscription identifiers. If you subscribe in our Android app, Google Play collects and processes your payment under Google's own privacy policy; we receive the purchase status, product and dates through RevenueCat, never your payment details. RevenueCat keeps a record of each purchase (your account ID and the purchase) so we can manage subscriptions. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security commitments.

4. Where Data Is Stored

Data is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States. If you use Kids Point Hub from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. The app also keeps an offline copy of your household data on your device so it works without a connection.

5. Cookies and Storage on Your Device

The app stores a few things in your browser so it works: a random device identifier (used in consent records and, on the Free plan, to keep your account on one device at a time), the sign-in data Firebase needs to keep you signed in, and an offline copy of your household data so the app works without a connection. Signing out keeps the offline copy on that device; deleting your account clears it on the device you delete from. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies to run checkout. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and family data, including the full point history, for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual kids, chores and rewards at any time. You can delete your account from the Manage tab in the app (Delete my account); we ask you to enter your password (or choose your Google account) again first. If you pay for Pro, cancel your subscription first; once it is set to cancel, deleting your account ends it right away. Deleting permanently removes your account, your subscription and order records, and any household where you are the only parent, including kids' profiles, chores, rewards and history. A household you share with another parent stays with them, including its point history, which keeps the awards and deductions you recorded. We email you to confirm, and the app clears its offline copy on the device you delete from. Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited time before it is overwritten.

We keep your consent records (described above, including your email address) for 7 years after your account is deleted, so we can show what was agreed to, or longer if they are needed for a legal claim. Only we can access them. Stripe keeps its own transaction records as required by tax and financial laws.

7. Your Rights

You can access and correct your family data directly in the app. You may also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing privacy@strascorp.com. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (GDPR), you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority; we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the app) and, for consent records, for our legitimate interest in being able to show what was agreed to. If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Children's Privacy

Kids Point Hub is intended for use by adult heads of household. Accounts must be registered by an adult parent or guardian, and children do not have accounts: we do not knowingly allow a child to create an account or collect information directly from children. Kids' profiles are created and controlled by their parent or guardian, who can edit or delete them at any time. We recommend using a first name or nickname only. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it. We handle children's information in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents may delete a child's profile, or their whole account, at any time in the app, or by emailing privacy@strascorp.com. See our COPPA Direct Parental Consent Notice.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google Cloud. Access to each household's data is restricted to its member parents by database security rules. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

10. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we change the Last Updated date above and ask you to accept the new version in the app before you continue using it.
